Pressure Test

Pressure testing is a non-destructive method used to ensure the integrity of equipment such as pressure vessels, pipelines, plumbing systems, gas cylinders, boilers, and fuel tanks.

It is required by piping codes to confirm that the system can withstand its rated pressure and is free from leaks.

Also known as hydrostatic testing, this procedure is typically performed after the installation of cooling or heating systems in the pipeline, and before the system is put into operation.
