Magnetic Particle Test

Magnetic Particle Testing (MPT), also known as Magnetic Particle Inspection, is a non-destructive examination (NDE) technique used to detect surface and slightly subsurface flaws in most ferromagnetic materials, such as iron, nickel, cobalt, and some of their alloys.

MPT is considered relatively fast and easy to perform, as it does not require the extensive surface preparation needed in other NDE methods.
Because of its efficiency and effectiveness, MPT has become one of the most commonly used non-destructive testing techniques in various industries.
