Technical Testing

Megger Test
Megger Testing is an electrical test used to evaluate the insulation performance of electrical equipment.
A megohmmeter (megger) is applied to each phase connection between the motor leads and ground, and a high voltage is introduced. The meter then measures the voltage drop across the connection point and calculates the insulation resistance value, which is displayed to the user.
This test helps determine the condition of the insulation and identify potential issues such as moisture ingress, aging, or degradation.
